Hellooow! I was trying to think of tribute items, and I didnt know what exactly to do. At the same time I was playing D3 and it just popped my mind that it could be cool to make a D3 tribute of the opponents!

To be considered: my friend just notified me that the tribute must have 4 different changes than the original, so uhmm... I'll have to figure that out! Also, there is a faint transparent colour over the HA's body and face. I'm not sure this can be accepted. I filed a ticket but they told me they couldnt answer that, I'd have to find out with the reviewer.

Anyway! Just gauging interest, if no one likes it, I will simply never release it (and move on to that little side updo wig I plan on releasing soon!) x3

I know, it's quite a change from my girly wigs D|

I like the bottom wig - all three colors (though I would only be able to afford one). I know subeta would probably another layer of shading. I haven't submitted any CW's yet of my own so not sure what else they would say. I also like to see the wigs on HA's with eyes so I can see if my eyes will be covered or not. :)

I am probably planning on releasing one of the rose bun colours (: And then possibly release a second one later on, but I'll start one with one for sure. I'm not sure which one though o.o

And thank you, I'll definitely look into the shading. My guess is that the darkest shades arent dark enough though x3

I think the shading on both the wigs is really really soft, and you need to bring some black lines into the interior of the wig to avoid "sticker effect." The icicle wig is still pretty flat, so I would definitely work on adding more depth to the shading. The rose wig is looking pretty fab, maybe need just a bit more in the way of darker shading (as you mentioned above), particular on our right side. I do like those rose wigs a lot, but I think you should make it a bit more obvious how they are styled -- right now the hair just looks like it's floating in place above the crown of the head, rather than tied up or knotted into a bun -- make any sense? I think you would sell loads of them, though! My favorite is the medium coral wig for suuure. :)

Hello! I just uploaded the 'darker' version, Do you think that would be enough? x3 I didn't add more black lines in the interior though, because I felt like it was killing the effect. Unless there really is no way it'd get accepted without those lines :(

I get what you mean about the bun! I'm not sure how to correct this however ._____________. The original draft had less hair on top, so you could see the knot at the base, but I ended up making it thicker. I kind of like it that way though, perhaps I should change the name of the item instead?

Yesss, it's really coming together now! I do think the style looks fine as is, and would probably get a buyer. Maybe I was being just a little nitpicky. :P I could logically see the hairband just being hidden by the tumble of hair. As for the black lines, right now the outline is really really obvious and I think subeta would deny it as is. :/ They seem to be pretty strict about that. What if you did something like this? The black lines I added on the right version are mostly just extensions of the outline into the wig just to help define some of the sections of hair, with a couple thrown in just to help define some shadows. They don't have to be SUPER in-your-face black lines, but they do add some depth and help the wig look a little more "subeta style."

I just reupdated my first post with the lines! x3 It's not as flattering on the pale pink one, but on the others I think it enhances. Thanks so much for the example x3

Great new wigs, I love updo styles. Although I love the concept, one thing really bothers me about the shape of the left side of the wig. It seems like there is almost a straight line from where the hair curves around the forehead, to about the top of the bun. Maybe adding a bit more definition around those loose strands, adding a bit more of an outside. Right now the left side of the wig looks a bit flat because the outlines for those loose strands isn't well defined. Same thing is happening on the right side right beneath the bun where there's a really sharp angle.

Also agree with what others have said about the shading being too light on both wigs, I think part of the issue on the bottom wig might be that the highlights are very thick. However, that being said I do love the way you've shaded the rosebun wigs, as the highlights make them look rather unique. Otherwise I can see this wig having a lot of potential.

No problem. Yeah, I think the added line-art does add more definition. :) Overall, great concept. Keep me posted on how this turns out, I'd love to see the finished version.

They look great. Even the pale pink one looks perfect, I think! The black lines aren't super noticeable but I think it's just enough. ^^ ONE last nitpick -- that loose strand on the right (our right) looks a bit stiff, particularly where it joins the head at the top. I think the wig would look great without it, but I can understand if it's part of the style you're going for. I would at least smooth that top bit a little.

That said, these have realllly grown on me. I think I might have to get a slot when you put these up for sale! :D

Just uploaded the last version in my first post! Fixed the weird loose strands that looked stiff and a bit more lineart <3 I think this is about the final version, apart from minor changes.

I hope editing WIPs for critique isn't considered rude here, I've been mainly posting on a site where it's considered polite to include an edit with your crit if possible sooo... I don't know, I can take it down if you don't want it?

But anyway: you've gotten plenty of crit on the rose bun wig already, and you've got it looking great, so here's some for the icicle wig. I like the general idea you have going there but the silhouette is a little awkward - I think the name implies something more flowing, and in addition to that you could use some more definition and detail inside the wig. This is kind of what I mean: [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/Linnet/subeta/iceflow_rework.jpg[/IMG] It's not perfect and some of the bits don't make perfect sense (particularly the bit where the hair flows into the over-the-shoulder portion, which also seems too bulky) but it kind of gets across what I mean, I hope.

omg those top buns are so cute. i think the 3rd version is most likely to get accepted because of the dark shadows in the lighter wigs. i think the pink from the first wig is the nicest so if theres a way to combine that with the shading style from the third one? i'd definitely be down for a slot on the last color of the brunette/mahogany-ish bun c:

red line-ing and wips aren't rude at all n_n so don't worry about that. cws are so hard to pin down artwise that feedback like that is super useful from other artists.
